Birmingham’s first Secret Supper is coming to Birmingham this April 9th, and it’s all for a great cause – Parkinson’s UK.
Three Courses, Three Restaurants, One Incredible Evening!
This unique, multi-dining experience is all happening around our beloved St Paul’s Square, where Pasta Di Piazza is based. At the Secret Supper, you’ll dine on three delicious courses at three different Jewellery Quarter restaurants. The ‘secret’ is that you won’t know where exactly you’ll be dining until the night!
The event kicks off at 5:30pm at the iconic Jam House where there will be a drinks reception and charity raffle. You’ll also find out here which of the wonderful restaurants you’ll be dining at. There are six restaurant venues hosting the Secret Supper. They are:
The Jam House (also the venue for the drinks reception)
Pasta Di Piazza
Anderson’s Bar & Grill
Saint Paul’s House
We’re so proud to be one of the restaurants taking part in the Secret Supper. Not only is it an exciting event that celebrates Birmingham and the Jewellery Quarter’s culinary delights, but it’s also for a truly wonderful and much-needed cause.
Tickets cost £35 per person and include a welcome drink and three-course meal at some of Birmingham’s best restaurants! You can buy them here: www.parkinsons.org.uk/secretsupper2019
Why Parkinson’s UK needs your support
Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition for which there is currently no cure. Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson’s. It affects 145,000 people in the UK, with an estimated 12,300 people living with Parkinson’s in the West Midlands.
As it’s the first ever Secret Supper in Birmingham, Parkinson’s UK and local marketing agency, FRAHA, (who are providing media support throughout the event and sponsoring the drinks reception along with Sonny’s Jewellery and Jones Davey Executive Legal Search Consultants) hosted a press launch for the Secret Supper at Pasta Di Piazza. We were lucky enough to hear from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Yvonne Mosquito, and speakers from Parkinson’s UK about their personal and family experiences with Parkinson’s.
We learned that Parkinson’s is a life-changing condition that affects not just the individual, but their families, too, yet it is a condition that not enough people talk about.
Parkinson’s UK is the UK’s leading charity supporting those with the condition. Its mission is to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s through cutting edge research, information, support and campaigning.
The Secret Supper press launch was eye-opening and we are so proud and passionate about supporting Parkinson’s UK’s much-needed services.
All profits from the Secret Supper will go to Parkinson’s UK to fund its pioneering research to find better treatments and a cure for the condition, as well as its vital support services.
We hope you’ll come on board and purchase a ticket to this fun event which will raise funds for this fantastic cause!
